Parent Responsibilities

PARENT RESPONSIBILITIES

We want you and your child to have the best experience possible in playing and belonging to the Elstead Sharks.
Please read and understand the following very important points and complete and return the parent respect form.
PARENT RESPECT FORM
Your Responsibilities
  • It is your responsibility to make sure your child has the proper footwear to participate.
  • Your child must wear shin pads to be able to play.
  • You must declare all relevant medical conditions on the registration form (e.g. asthma).
  • You must give a valid emergency contact number.
  • You must ensure your child has the relevant clothing to be comfortable, dry and warm.
  • You must ensure that your child has a suitable supply of fluids.
If your child has Asthma
  • You must bring a relief inhaler to every Sharks session.
  • This must be annotated with your child’s name.
  • This must be kept by yourself if attending session, or given to the coach if not.
  • Your child cannot play if they do not have an inhaler with them.
Please Remember
  • Please remember that the Elstead Sharks is not a Creche service.
  • We are not trained child minders and it is not fair on the coaches or the other players to “drop the kids off”and go away.
  • Your child wants you to be there to see them play and support them.
  • We may need you to be there for behaviour issues or for minor injuries.
  • We want you there to be part of the Sharks Community - it’s fun!
  • Please try to help your coach with setting up and packing away.
